Maker's Faire

I went to a Maker's faire last week. I followed my gf to see her crafts fair stuff.. But Wow.. at the entrance.. a modified 100+mpg Prius. wish they had more info on this thing other than the 100+MPG sticker


Kinda cool seeing the owners of the site that my gf visits quite often.


Bike wheels that light up. ... that's cool n all.. but.. ok ok.. I won't say anything. Thumbs up!


Microsoft's room was prett poorely done.


So I thought the Smart Car was very cool until I visited these guys. I was even thinking of buying it there when I saw it. Expecting it to be $10kish.

But the person told me it costs $20~25k.

I had to ask "why would I want to buy this over a Prius?" After the lady passing me onto the "specialist".. he told me that "Prius is a great car..." and went onto say Smart Car is all gas powered and Smart Car is smaller.

So Prius > Smart car in every way. Except that Smart car is smaller...


Dude... wtf. seriously.. wtf is this.


I'm gonna have to give it to Yahoo, they had the coolest booth and their people were well organized. Beautiful ladies inviting people in and techy people explaining inside. Other places.. any questions I asked.. I usually got referred to someone else.

Funny pointless, but memorable freebies too!
