- When I walked in the lobby, they gave me a badge with not by my name, but said Noogler. It felt like the first day of Highschool and being in a tour group at the same time.
They gave me a nice eight hour orientation with other nooglers. They really make it sound too good to be true and make you want to stay forever.
Once I got to my cubicle.. let's just say.. Google really makes it so there can be NOTHING to complain about. Everything is Top of the Top of the line.
When I started up my computer, it was Linux and the system gave an error. I thought it was a test to see what I'll do to fix it, but I really had no clue. =P I just saw a few people coding around me and it really scares me. People are really nice, well.. too nice.. that it makes you think something is wrong or something is about to come up. This feeling here reminds me of when I started my previous job, and I didn't know the difference between XML and HTML. Just feels completely useless, but we'll see.. it's only been a few hours since I actually sat at my cubicle.
I think I'll have a lot of fun
Introduction of Myself
- My name is Kenjiro Yagi, but feel free to call me Kenji or YAGI! for short and simplicity. I'm a recent college graduate from UC, Santa Cruz and I have a bachelors degree in Computer Science. I've been working as a contractor for NASA for 2 years and also the owner/creator of Spoofee.com (a deal hunting website).
Some of my favorite movies that come to mind
